Spine Tactical is developing a modular tactical backpack with approximately 85 liters capacity, based on a proprietary external aluminum frame and engineered for plate carrier users.

Using a conventional expedition backpack together with body armor creates ergonomic challenges that reduce user comfort and mobility.
Backpack pressure on the rear ballistic plate
A backpack carrying system that is incompatible with a ballistic plate carrier creates pressure on the vest and shoulders.
Limited load distribution
Standard waist belts in carrying systems not adapted for ballistic plate vests do not properly transfer load to the hips.
Unstable and uncomfortable position
Lack of tailored profiling causes the backpack to pull away from the back, drastically altering the center of gravity and creating instability during movement in difficult terrain.
